International Trade Union Organisations
Since the last third of the 19th century, the International Trade Secretariats (ITS) have constituted the global coalition of certain occupational groups and areas (e.g. metal workers, transport workers...) within the framework of the international Trade Union Movement.
The data base mostly lists the inventories of the International Trade Secretariats and the International Confederation of Free Trade Unions.Furthermore, users have the option to access the individual organisations' inventories by means of an organisational development overview.
The indexed inventories mainly come from the Friedrich Ebert Foundation Library and from the International Institute of Social History (IISG), Amsterdam. This database is still being built up; it will be continuously expanded to list the inventories of other friendly institutions.

SI Bibliography
This on-line bibliography is based on the publication "Socialist Internationals - a Bibliography". The printed version of this bibliography has been compiled by Gerd Callesen. It lists all publications of the Social-Democratic and Socialist Internationals for the years 1914-2000. The on-line version of this bibliography is the attempt to continue the printed version. This means that new publications of those Internationals that are still in existence will be registered as well as older ones that have been found or verified after the release of the printed bibliography. Please send us an e-mail if you have any comments or suggestions.
