Au sujet de l’auteur

Roman Grynberg est Professeur dans le département d’économie à l’Université du Pacifique Sud à Suva dans les Iles Fidji. Il a obtenu son Doctorat en économie à l’Université McGill en 1988 et sa Maîtrise d’économie à l’Université Simon Fraser en 1974. Il a été consultant pour plusieurs projets et institutions ,en particulier l’UNCTAD et la Banque Mondiale, ainsi que conseiller économique de membres du Parlement des Fidji. Il a gagné de nombreuses bourses universitaires et récompenses en Australie, au Canada et aux Etats-Unis. Il a écrit de nombreux articles sur les débouchés économiques du Pacifique Sud et co-écrit un livre sur les ressources économiques.
