In principle, the Friedrich Ebert Foundation Library's information and publication offers are intended for a public interested in politics as well as social and contemporary history. In addition, the "FES Net Source: History and Politics" is aimed at teachers, students and adult education in particular.
Taking as a basis the Library's inventories on the one hand and the standards of the school curricula for history and politics classes and the requirements of socio-political adult education on the other hand, we offer publications pertaining to social and contemporary history as well as social policy on the Internet in digital form and also furnish accompanying commentaries to those publications.
The digitized publications are complemented by subject-related event calendars and event notes as well as lists containing specialist literature and links aimed at stimulating further research in the Friedrich Ebert Foundation Library OPAC or in other sources on the Internet.
