Victor Gunewardena

A journalism research and training consultant with 26 years experience in journalism, is currently Course Director of the Sri Lanka Foundation Institute’s Journalism and Communication Diploma Project as well as Secretary-General of the South Asian Media Association (SAMA).

Joe S. M. Kadhi

A former Managing Editor of Kenya’s largest English newspaper, "The Daily Nation", currently a journalism lecturer at the University of Nairobi, an Assistant Visiting Professor at St. Lawrence University, a journalism refresher course coordinator at the United States International University and a media columnist for Kenya’s oldest newspaper "The Standard."

Michael Kunczik

Professor, Institute of Communications, Johannes Gutenberg University, Mainz, Federal Republic of Germany, has researched mass media effects, theories of mass communication, international communication, mass media and social change, media economics.

David Mould

A former newspaper and television journalist, now Professor of Telecommunications at Ohio University (U.S.A.), he served as a Fulbright Senior Scholar in Journalism and Mass Communication in Kyrgyzstan.

Francis B. Nyamnjoh

Sankaran Ramanathan

Dr. Sankaran Ramanathan was Principal Lecturer in Journalism at MARA Institute of Technology, Malaysia, before joining the Asia Media Information and Communication Centre (AMIC), Singapore, in May 1996 as Coordinator, Special Projects.

Javier Dario Restrepo

A journalist for 45 years, 27 of them as television reporter. Currently employed by the "El Tiempo" newspaper in Bogota as Readers’ Advocate (Defensor del Lector). Professor for Postgraduate Journalism Studies at the universities Los Andes, Javieriana, Pontifica Bolivariana in Medellin and the Autonomous University in Baranquilla. Co-author (with Maria Teresa Herran) of the book, "Ethics for Journalists."

Elizabeth Schuster

After receiving a master’s degree in journalism from The Ohio State University (U.S.A.) she has spent the years since 1990 in Russia, Hungary and Kazakhstan administering and reporting on media and social-sector programs.
