International Union of Socialist Youth Organizations

The Union was founded at a conference in Vienna in February 1921 under the auspices of the International Working Union of Socialist Parties (The Vienna International). Members were, among others, the socialist youth organizations in Germany (USPD), Austria, France, Czechoslovakia (DSAP), Yugoslavia, Hungary and Latvia. Karl Heinz became its secretary.
In 1923 it merged with the Social-Democratic Young Workers' International at a conference in Hamburg and became the Socialist Youth International.
