International Association of Socialist Lawyers The Association was founded at the Brussels Congress of the Socialist and Labour International in 1928. The second conference convened at the Vienna Congress of the SLI.
The Association had members in Austria, Belgium, Czechoslovakia (both the Czech and German organisation), Estonia, France, Germany, Hungary, Latvia, Luxemburg the Netherlands, Poland, Rumania and Switzerland. In 1931 organisations in Finland, Great Britain and Greece were about to be founded. The strongest organisations were in Germany and Austria with 491 and 420 members respectively. The Association co-operated with the SLI on several questions.
