Committee of the International Socialist Conferences

The COMISCO was a more representative body than its predecessor, the information bureau of the international socialist movement. Each member party had its own representative. COMISCO operated until 1951. The conference in Frankfurt, where the Socialist International was founded, changed the COMISCO into the Council of the SI, its subcommittee into the Bureau of the SI.
